WCIRM Graduate Studies
Applying to WCIRM Graduate Studies
Potential students are encouraged to review the Colorado State Graduate School application process for deadlines and procedures as application to the program is through the Colorado State University Graduate School. All University admission requirements apply.
Tips for applying:
- The WCIRM often accepts students past the graduate school deadline. If the graduate school deadline has passed, please call the WCIRM at 970.491.1610 to confirm availability of graduate student positions.
- As you complete your CSU application, note that there are two parts. Many students miss the second part, which requires that you submit a resume and statement of purpose. If you do not complete both parts of your application in the electronic submission process, a delay in processing will result.
- To indicate that you are choosing the IRM program, you must select "Agricultural Sciences - MAGR" from the drop-down menu in Part 1 of CSU's graduate student application. In Part 2, please type "Integrated Resource Management" in the area of study field.
- While CSU's Graduate School requests two official copies of your transcripts, one is acceptable.
- Letters of recommendation and transcripts should be sent to

- The WCIRM admissions committee cannot review your application until it's complete. Stay in touch with us about your file by contacting us at 970.491.1610. Your application gets routed through the College of Agriculture before it arrives here at the WCIRM, and it helps us to know if you haven't heard from us about your application status - we may not know that it's been misrouted. If you're not sure, contact us.
